The Young Researchers’ Symposium on Plant Photobiology (YRSPP) is an international event dedicated to providing an accessible platform for early-career researchers (ECRs) working in all areas of plant photobiology to present their work and begin engaging with the international research community. The next YRSPP will be held in Edinburgh, Scotland from 15-18 April 2026, and is organised by a team of ECRs based at the Universities of Edinburgh, Glasgow and Cologne.
YRSPP 2026 will feature six keynote talks from emerging and established research leaders in the field. Attendees will have the opportunity to present posters and oral presentations alongside our keynote speakers, and form collaborative research networks and friendships with each other and the speakers during social events.
YRSPP is designed for early-career postdoctoral researchers and group leaders, PhD students, and any other ECRs studying plant light signalling topics – if this sounds like you, please save the date as we’d love to see you there!
